Michael brings over 20 years of leadership and consulting experience to his role in driving transformation in a digital world. He believes that digital transformation is a combination of the human and the technological and that our organizations can only make the changes needed to thrive by addressing both the social and technical systems of which they are made. Michael has led transformations and cultural change from Start Up and Private Equity to SME and Fortune 50 companies across a very broad variety of industries, private and public. For the past 15 years he has focused on the emergence of the increased need for change demanded by our digital world
Michael earned his Master’s of Science in Organization Development from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA and his BA in Psychology from Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. He lives in the PNW area with his family, but he remains a Montana boy at heart where he grew up the son of school teachers who taught him the value of doing the right thing, even if it costs you and even if no one is watching. You will usually find him wearing a kilt for no compelling reason whatsoever. He is also the author of The Heart of Transformation: Build the Human Capabilities That Change Organizations for Good.
